1. We arrive at the party and play games with the children as they arrive - no prizes.
Once everyone has arrived we try to play one game with a themed prize.
2. We perform a 30 minutes (approx) panto style show. This can be performed in a hall, lounge or garden. We like to get the birthday child and other children to join in if they want to.
3. We will then play more themed games and give themed prizes to the winners
4.We will then leave the party while they are eating. This means that we have a chance to pack up our props and get out of the way before all the parents arrive to collect the children.
5. Total time at party approx 60 minutes.
Polite Notice
Apart from the organiser, we strongly advise that parents and friends do not remain in the same room during our activities. The presence of adults can make the children distracted and therefore more reluctant to join in. We also find that a number of adults in the room means we have to shout over the background noise and this doesn't keep the children's attention. If parents are keen to watch, the last 10 minutes (during our last game) are the best time to do this.
All the children who are at the party receive a sticker and a tattoo.
Games include: Pass the Parcel, Pin the Tail on the Cheshire Cat (or Ruby shoe on Dorothy etc), Musical statues etc.
We never give sweets or chocolate as prizes.
There are plenty of opportunities for photos to be taken and both Steph and Doug love having their photo taken!!
Both Steph and Doug have CRB certificates and First aid certificates.
