How to give your room or hall an Alice ThemeBelow are a few ideas to help you achieve an Alice theme for your party.
Don't be late for a very important date! On (26th Aug) it's (Sarahs) party and she'd love you to come. No need to get lost just find your way to (address). Decorations Decorate the room with playing cards - extra large ones.
Decorate the table like the tea party in the story. Have a large teapot in the centre - large plastic ones can be purchased from toy shops. The birthday girl can sit at the head of the table and her chair could be decorated like a throne. Activities If you want to provide your own activities - why not have a hat making competition or get the children to make paper roses that they can then paint. (ABC Theemers do not provide activites for the children - see 'What we do'. Cups and Plates It's difficult to get Alice themed plates, cups etc. but you can get paper plates etc. with pictures of playing cards on or with teapots! Or pop along to your local charity shop and buy some pocelain cups, saucers and a teapot. It doesn't matter if they don't match. Fill the teapot with fruit juice or something similar.
Food Bake or buy little cakes and write 'Eat Me' on the top with an icing pen. Have bottles of cola, juice or water and stick a 'drink me' label onto them.
